Framing and Viewpoint

This is called "Fragile Frame."  I made it on my kitchen floor.  It's a frame because of the domino frame around the smiley face shows that it's the focal point.

This one is called "Wrecking Ball."  I took it in my backyard.  Because of the angle and how close I was, it looks like the soccer ball is smashing the fence and grass.

I call this one "Little Girl."  I took it from my school room window.  Because of the downward angle, it looks like she's really small.  However, the light got in the way, and I couldn't fix it.  Kind of ruined the photo.

Project: Patterns and Backgrounds

This one is called "Pink is a manly color." I took it on my kitchen counter.  It's a pattern because... well, because... it's a pattern.

I call this one "Pine Tree."  I took it off my deck.  It shows good background because the blue sky and other trees don't distract to much from the subject, the pine tree.

I call this one "Listening to my jams." I took it in my schoolroom.  It has a terrible background.  The diaper boxes, history timeline, printer, and pretty much everything distract from the subject, my sister.

Project: Leading Lines, Balance, and Symmetry

I call this picture "Do you want to build a snowman?"  I took this photo on the deck outside my house. It demonstrates leading lines because of both the side and the floor of the deck are leading to the subject: my little sister.

This one is called "Owl Eyes."  I took this picture on my parents bed.  Those are barn doors that look like an owl.  It shows symmetry because the two sides are almost completely identical.

I named this one "Lonely Cube."  I took it in my school room.  It shows asymmetry because it's the only thing in the picture, and it looks lonely.  Like it just wants someone to come solve it.

Love

This one is called Love.  I took this picture in my living room. It uses the rule of thirds because the sign is on the line if there was a grid on it.

Socks

I call this one Socks.  I took this photo in my kitchen.  The crazy fun colors of the socks show that this person is happy and they they want others to be too.

Baby Girl

I call this photo Baby Girl. This is my little sister.  I took this photo on my parents bed.  It demonstrates the rule of thirds because her eyes are on the line if you put on the grid, and it shows color because the pink blanket she's laying on shows it's a girl.
